Michael and Lisa's Wedding - Hermitage, TN- The Hermitage

Michael and Lisa are such a stunning couple- it was a joy to shoot them! They were married in a gorgeous location- the garden of The Hermitage, which was the home of Andrew Jackson! Such a unique location! The rain held off and the overcast sky gave the photos some great colors with little shadows & also cooled things off for their guests! I hope to shoot again at the Hermitage soon, it had so many beautiful spots for portraits! Congrats Michael & Lisa! Hope you are loving married life! :)

Noreen and Justin's Wedding - Gaylord Opryland, Nashville, TN

I first met Noreen and Justin at the Premier Bride Bridal Show at the Nashville Convention Center. I knew they were going to be a fun couple as soon as they told me they were learning the dance from the movie "Dirty Dancing" to perform as their first dance at their wedding! It was a smashing hit! Also, at their Gaylord Opryland reception a bird flew head on into the wall of windows that were directly behind the bride and groom during the toasts causing a loud bang, knocking the bird out cold. There were gasps from the guests and Noreen & Justin busted out in laughter. I wish many more years of fun and laughter for you two! Keep it up! :)

Josh and Laura's Wedding - Owen Chapel, Brentwood, TN

Laura and I have gone to the same church for years and have grown up together, so it was SO neat to be a part of her wedding day! I have shot at their ceremony location, Owen Chapel, multiple times. They allow each couple who gets married there to have the whole week before to decorate and set up for their big day, so it has a special feel for each couple that marries there! I absolutely LOVED their cake- it was gorgeous! Congrats Josh and Laura! Hope you are enjoying married life! :)

Ben and Jenna's Wedding - Brentwood, TN

What a fun couple & a hilarious bridal party! Ben & Jenna are so precious with each other and you can tell they are so in love. Their reception took place in the church's gym, which was completely TRANSFORMED with lighting. It was a stellar idea that enriched the classy event. I am definitely going to suggest this idea to many brides & grooms in the future. And I can't forget to mention that their groomsmen followed their limo on razer scooters as they drove away. :) Too funny!

Jordan & Allie's Wedding - The Factory, Downtown Franklin, TN

My little sister's MARRIED!! I was so excited for this day, but was most excited for Allie to marry THE Jordan Miller! They were married on June 27, 2009 at The Factory in Downtown Franklin, TN. I was the matron-of-honor so my partner, Chris and his wife Adrienne, shot the wedding and gave me the best gift -- allowing me to focus completely on my sister and leave the photos totally to them!

Allie planned an incredibly elegant wedding with intricate details everywhere that left guests breathless. I have shot at The Factory in Franklin multiple times and Allie took on a great concept I had seen before, having guests sit at the reception tables for the ceremony since they both took place in the same room. I highly recommend it!

Welcome to the family Jordan! I couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law or husband for Al.

Zach & Rachel's Wedding - Scarritt Bennett, Nashville, TN

Zach and Rachel were married at Scarritt Bennett in Nashville, TN on Sunday, July 12th. Rain poured down (sideways at times), with flooding even causing the closer of 8th Ave just outside their reception at Mercy Lounge. But they are still married! We were able to get some incredible shots and a huge number of guests celebrated with them, probably the most I have ever seen on a dance floor.

This wedding was a precious one for me. I used to babysit for Rachel and was there during the time she lost her father. To photograph her 3 uncles walking her down the aisle was a moment I will never forget. More importantly during the ceremony was a worship time where Zach and Rachel with hands lifted, praised our heavenly Father! The Lord has truly bound a special couple and I am so excited to see Zach and Rachel's life continue together as they follow the perfect path the Lord is setting before them.

Brentwood, TN- Wedding Photography- Courtney & Brandon

I shot Brandon & Courtney's wedding at the Governor's Club Mansion on May 17 and it was such a wonderful wedding! The beautiful couple were married in the back garden of the Mansion which was a great setting for the ceremony. Scat Springs, one of my favorite local wedding bands, provided the entertainment for the reception so I knew it was bound to be a great time! Dustin & Whitney's Wedding- Lexington, KY

Whitney is my cousin and she and Dustin couldn't be more perfect for each other. It was a destination wedding for me since my primary photography studio is located in Franklin, TN, but the event took place in their hometown of Lexington, KY. Their wedding was elegant and they had the most precious flower girls I have ever seen. Dustin & Whitney have given me some of the best stories... The fire alarm went off twice during the reception, in Lexington, KY and they embraced the moment, jumping on the fire truck for the perfect photo-op! While shooting their engagement photos in Downtown Franklin, TN, a person drove by and yelled out her window, "Kiss her real good!!". It was Wynona Judd :) Dustin & Whit, I hope your life together brings you many more wonderful stories.

Colton & Kristin's Wedding- Lillie Belles, Franklin, TN

I have a wonderful wedding/event partnership with Monell's at Historic Lillie Belles in Downtown Franklin, TN. I have shot there multiple times but this wedding gave me inspiration for shots I have not gotten there before. Maybe it was the super cute couple and Lillie Belles' new redesign... I don't know :) Whatever the case I was extremely happy with how their photos turned out and can't wait to shoot there again! And Kristin, as Colton goes overseas I pray these photos will bring you great happiness as you recall the memories from such a elegant wedding...and Colton, I know you will be proud to show off your "Barbie bride" to all of your buddies. :)

Bryan and Lindy were married on May 2, 2009 at the Carnton Plantation. The rain held off for the important parts of the day- thank goodness! The overcast skies made for gorgeous colors in the photos.
